KIRKBI Climate appoints Tim Stedman and Rory O'Connor to Board of Directors

KIRKBI Climate A/S has appointed Tim Stedman and Rory O'Connor to its Board of Directors, effective 1 August 2026. Their appointments add extensive international experience across Circular Plastics and Energy Transition, strengthening the company's governance as KIRKBI Climate continues to expand its portfolio and build high-impact climate businesses.

Susanna Campbell, Chair of the Board of Directors of KIRKBI Climate, said:

Tim Stedman brings over 30 years of experience across the global plastics, chemicals and energy industries. He has served as CEO of Agilyx, an advanced recycling technology business, held senior leadership roles at Trinseo with full P&L responsibility for global plastics businesses, and most recently served as CEO of Storegga, a carbon capture and storage developer.

Rory O'Connor was a founding member of BlackRock Climate Infrastructure, where he served as Global Chief Investment Officer, Head of Europe and Chair of the Investment Committee, helping build and scale the platform globally, investing in sectors including onshore and offshore wind, solar, energy storage and electric vehicle charging. Prior to BlackRock, he was a senior executive at NTR plc, a long-term sustainable infrastructure investor. Since 2025, he has taken on advisory and governance roles, including with Energy Infrastructure Partners and Envision Energy.

Established in 2025 by the Kirk Kristiansen family, KIRKBI Climate deploys patient, family-backed capital to drive systemic impact and sustainable returns across Circular Plastics, Energy Transition and Land Sustainability. With a full Board now in place, KIRKBI Climate enters its next phase of development with strong governance and deep sector expertise across its core focus areas.
